Cookie Policy

V 2.5 | Effective Date: 21 May 2025 | Last Updated: 21 May 2025

1 What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device, remember preferences, and enhance security and performance. In this Policy, “cookies” also includes similar technologies such as pixels, local storage, SDKs, and device identifiers.

2 Why We Use Cookies

We deploy cookies to:

  1. Operate the Service – enable log-in sessions, prevent cross-site-request forgery (CSRF), and balance server load.

  2. Remember Your Settings – retain language, time-zone, and cookie-consent choices.

  3. Measure Performance – compile aggregated analytics so we can improve features.

  4. Protect the Platform – detect fraud or unauthorised access.

  5. Communicate & Market – (only if you opt in) display limited first-party promotions for new features or plans.

We do not use third-party advertising or cross-context behavioural-advertising cookies.

5 Managing Cookies

5.1 Cookie-Consent Banner / CMP

On your first visit from the EU/UK or any U.S. state with comparable laws, you will see a banner:

  • “Accept All,” “Reject All,” or “Customise” buttons satisfy GDPR Art. 7 consent.

  • Your choices are stored for twelve (12) months in cookie_consent.

  • You can reopen the settings modal anytime by clicking “Cookie Settings” in the footer.

5.2 Browser Controls

Most browsers allow you to:

  • Delete cookies;

  • Block cookies altogether;

  • Block cookies from specific sites; or

  • Receive a warning before cookies are stored.

For details, visit:

Chrome → Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and other site data
Firefox → Preferences > Privacy & Security
Edge → Settings > Cookies and site permissions
Safari → Preferences > Privacy

5.3 Do Not Track (DNT) & Global Privacy Control (GPC)

75land recognises Global Privacy Control signals where technically feasible and will treat them as a valid opt-out of analytics/marketing cookies for California and other applicable jurisdictions.

6 International Transfers

Cookie-derived personal data may be processed in the United States. For EU/UK data, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and additional safeguards (TLS 1.3, encryption at rest).

7 Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in technology, regulation, or our practices. Material changes will be announced via cookie-banner notice or email at least thirty (30) days before they take effect.
